One Phoenix Thermal oil heater; model PX-100, maximum design temperature of 550°F.
Double Helical coil design with heatmizer fins for improved heat extraction from air stream.
The unit will be complete and ready to fire after connecting to the electric, fuel, and hot oil circulation piping. The coil is designed according to ASME for 550°F @ 125 psi MAWP. The coils are Schedule 40 SA-106B pipe. This unit comes with a reconditioned burner with a two year warranty on all burner parts.
Includes the following specs:
• 6" inlet/outlet nozzles - ANSI 300# SA 105 WNRF flanges.
• ASME designed coils = 125 psi @ 550°F.
• Double 3” helical coils. (Sch. 40 SA-106B Seamless pipe).
• The heater shall have high temperature refractory install in the turn-around area of the heater.
• Shell and front/back plates to be 304 SS 5/16" steel wrapped with 2" thick high temperature insulation covered with a galvanized steel skin.
• The heater shall be equipped with a 2" diameter sight glass (quartz) port equipped with a cooling connection located at the rear of the unit for an unobstructed view of the flame.
• The heater shall be equipped with a 20" (minimum) manway located at the rear door for internal inspection of the unit.
• The heater shall be equipped with sampling and instrumentation ports to be located on the stack and at locations before and after the convection section.
• All electrical conduit material shall be rigid aluminum.
Controls
Controls and control panels to meet NEMA 4 requirements and includes the following:
• UL Listed NEMA 4 enclosures.
• TEFC burner blower motor.
• Honeywell high oil temperature limit control.
• Love Controls TCS-4010 high stack temperature control.
• 1 - Stack dual thermocouple.
• Square D 500SV1B Step-down control transformer for 120V control power.
• Numbered terminal blocks and enclosed wire raceways.
• Alarm horn mounted to the control panel.
• Integrated shutdown permissive.
• Control Relays.
• Full set of dry contacts for alarms and statuses for customer use.
• Push/Pull emergency stop button located on control panel.

Heater Inlet Piping:
• 1 –pressure switch mounted between the heater inlet and outlet for 500 GPM flowrate.
• 1 - Inlet pressure gauge with shut off cock.
• 1 - Inlet thermometer with thermowell.
• 1 – Inlet thermocouple. With thermowell.
Heater Outlet Piping:
• 1 - Outlet pressure gauge with shut off cock.
• 1 - Outlet thermometer with thermowell.
• 1 - Outlet dual thermocouple with thermowell.
• 1 – Outlet thermocouple with thermowell for circuit coil #1
• 1 – Outlet thermocouple with thermowell for circuit coil #2
• 1 –Flanged pressure relief valve (located on the heater outlet manifold).
Pilot Fuel Train (Natural Gas):
Pilot fuel train designed to meet typical NFPA-87 / NEC requirements. Pilot fuel train controls to meet NEMA 4 requirements. The pilot fuel train will be constructed of carbon steel threaded connections. The pilot fuel train shall include the following:
• 1 – Pilot fuel pressure regulator.
• 2 - Automatic safety shut off valve.
• 1 – Solenoid vent valve.
• 2 - Manual shut off valves.
• 1 - Pressure gauge with isolation valve.
Main Fuel Train (Natural Gas):
Main fuel train designed to meet typical NFPA-87 / NEC requirements. Main fuel train controls to meet NEMA 4 requirements. The main fuel train will be constructed of carbon steel threaded connections.
The main fuel train shall include the following:
• 1 – Main fuel pressure regulator.
• 1 - Carbon steel strainer.
• 2 - Manual shut off valves.
• 2 - safety shut off valves with proof of closure switches.
• 1 – Solenoid vent valve.
• 1 – Low gas pressure switch with manual reset switch.
• 1 –High gas pressure switch with manual reset switch.
• 2 - Pressure gauges.
